What a year! Highs, lows, and everything in between, 2015 definitely left an impression that will not soon be forgotten. Personally, this year was filled with everything from spiritual desolation to spiritual pruning and then spiritual growth. It was a time that even in the midst of hardship, I knew that I was grateful for a religion that did not place its foundation on the shifting sands of my own personal feelings or emotions. I knew that regardless of how I felt in the thick of things, that God was still in control and He was doing something marvelous through me and our family, even though I did not like it. While part of me is excited for 2016, I am grateful for a year that has challenged me, broken me, and rebuilt me in a way that helps glorify Him {I hope} better than before.
One thing {among many} I love about Catholic Sistas is that a multi contributor blog can continue to chug along when one or many writers face hardships. It makes me immensely grateful for the opportunity to stand virtual shoulder to shoulder with these amazing Ink Slingers {and fellas such as Devin Rose, Allen Hebert, and even former LFO singer Brad Fischetti} who give their time and talent to share their witness with you.
