Catholic Through The Year

DAYBOOK | Liturgical 2019

Do you remember the first time you used a planner? Were you determined to see it through to the end of the year, only to give up in frustration because the planner didn’t meet your needs? What if your Catholic planner wasn’t just fully and completely Catholic, but offered you a practical solution in managing the day-to-day chaos of your life? Can you imagine how it might look? What would make it different? How would it call you to live the Faith in a deep and reverent manner?

Well, friend, have I got some AMAZING news for you – DAYBOOK just got real. And I mean, on all fronts. It delivers where other planners won’t. It inspires you to wake up thinking about the feast day and the ones to come in the days ahead. You are grounded by the daily readings. Do you love to journal? Then jump to the Spiritual Growth Diary and journal and scribble to your heart’s content!

I know, I know, you’re thinking, “Martina, I’m just not organized – I just don’t know about this.” I am WITH you – so, so with you! I have spent the better part of my adult life being DISORGANIZED. And when you have a growing and large family, it’s sink or swim. You don’t have the option of not having systems in place to simplify your life. And that’s where I was, friends. I started with bad systems and I modified as I went along. And I got better at it and found a better sense of rhythm as to what would work best for myself and my family. And that’s part of my story in how I came up with DAYBOOK. I’ve done the hard work for you – I created this planner with the unorganized folks at heart. I created it because I was in your shoes and so desperately needed something that was both beautifully and completely Catholic, and didn’t compromise on the day-to-day planner details. You need something that’s simple and challenging at the same time.

About Martina Kreitzer

Martina is a cradle Catholic, wife to Neil, and mother to seven kiddos here {and three in heaven}– 4/96-1/17. She decided to homeschool the kiddos in 2010 after many years in public schools and is currently transitioning out of homeschooling. She is the creator of Catholic Sistas which focuses on a feminine perspective of the Catholic Faith. The website was the result of an existing camaraderie by the contributors in a Catholic women’s group she created. She is also a Seal of Approval evaluator for the Catholic Writers Guild. Lest you think she spends all her time online, Martina has enjoyed getting out into the community by serving on the Pastoral Council from 2010-2013. She is constantly on the lookout to make her parish as welcoming as the small town she grew up in East Texas. This task is not easy given that St. William is the largest parish in the Austin diocese, serving well over twenty thousand parishioners. She loves Jesus, coffee, bacon, chocolate, photography, more bacon, evangelizing, and the company of those unafraid to use their sense of humor.

  • C. Elizabeth Dailey - I do wish that the description had included a page size. I would likely still have purchased it, but would have known that it would take me some work to make it useable. 8.5 X 11 is far too large to be convenient for me, so I will need to figure out proper scaling, and then cut down the pages, or do a 2 to a page print and figure out the correct print order to get things front and back the way they should be.

That said, I love the content. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Thank you so much.

  • Erin P - This is everything I was looking at! I wanted a Catholic calendar/planner, and I need a blogging planner. Also, the household management bundle is better than frankenstein-ing from a bunch of printable sources. To top it all off- it’s all pretty!July 21, 2014 – 9:07 amReplyCancel

  • Rebecca U. - Is it 152 front-back pages? Or 152 single pages? About hoe thick does it turn out to be?July 23, 2014 – 10:05 pmReplyCancel

  • C. Elizabeth Dailey - Rebecca – mine is just under 1/2 in. It would vary a little, depending on the weight of your paper, but not much.

One small head’s up, I don’t know if it’s happening to others, but I got charged a small international transaction fee (5¢) per purchase by my credit card. Not enough to be a bother, but I was a bit perplexed before I connected the dots.July 27, 2014 – 9:44 pmReplyCancel

  • Katie - I just wanted follow up on my purchase and tell Martina how much I love the calendar! I do have one suggestion on the homeschool planner, though–I wish it were available with the option of the planning pages in black and white. I’m just a cheapskate and hate to use all that toner, although the yellow is very cheerful.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a calendar, and I am so excited to use it. Thanks again!August 5, 2014 – 8:02 pmReplyCancel

  • lisa - Seriously! This goes right into my Dropbox!!!!? Could you have made my life any easier today? (No you could not. That was all I needed right there in a could-not-have-been-anymore-convenient-Paypal, Dropbox, Bundle!) Fantastic! Thank you sooooo much!August 21, 2014 – 2:03 pmReplyCancel

  • Margaret Wearne - would it be possible to just get the meal planner section of the household management bundle?
There are many things in that bundle i would not use so $5 is a lot to spend on just one piece of it.
Also, i see the total page number is 152, is that just for the calendar? if not, how many pages for just the calendar? and how many pages for the homeschool bundle?
    Thank you!June 10, 2015 – 8:13 pmReplyCancel
