2015 Advent Instagram Photo Journey – Who’s In?

CSAdventgraphic

Each year as we draw closer to Advent, I always am encouraged by how different we all are. We respond to a call to a deeper, more intentional liturgical season in a variety of ways. This year, I decided to ask you all join me in getting our Christmas shopping done before Advent by participating in our first annual Christmas Shopping Challenge. Why did I come up with something like that? To hopefully give you a more rest-filled Advent season. A season in which, if you feel called to, you can participate in our Instagram Advent Photo Journey without the added stresses of buying gifts!

This season of preparation and anticipation of Christ’s birth six dear friends will be leading the challenge. They are MichelleRita, Brittany, Mary, Cindy, and Adrienne.

About Martina Kreitzer

Martina is a cradle Catholic, wife to Neil, and mother to seven kiddos here {and three in heaven}– 4/96-1/17. She decided to homeschool the kiddos in 2010 after many years in public schools and is currently transitioning out of homeschooling. She is the creator of Catholic Sistas which focuses on a feminine perspective of the Catholic Faith. The website was the result of an existing camaraderie by the contributors in a Catholic women’s group she created. She is also a Seal of Approval evaluator for the Catholic Writers Guild. Lest you think she spends all her time online, Martina has enjoyed getting out into the community by serving on the Pastoral Council from 2010-2013. She is constantly on the lookout to make her parish as welcoming as the small town she grew up in East Texas. This task is not easy given that St. William is the largest parish in the Austin diocese, serving well over twenty thousand parishioners. She loves Jesus, coffee, bacon, chocolate, photography, more bacon, evangelizing, and the company of those unafraid to use their sense of humor.

  • Evelyn - I would love to participate but my Instagram account and FB account are on private settings :/November 18, 2015 – 11:01 pmReplyCancel

    • Martina Kreitzer - Evelyn,

Even if your account is on private, you can still share the challenge with those on your list. We don’t *need* to see them and want to respect your privacy. 🙂
