Little Catholic Clubhouse and the True Meaning of Christmas

The very first adventure for our Clubhouse members is to discover the True Meaning of Christmas. When Pete receives a gift from his grandmother, his reaction is not what his mother would want it to be. Being told he does not understand the “true meaning of Christmas,” Pete uses the power of the clubhouse team to find the answer. Under the guidance of Father Q, Pete and the Clubhouse members travel back in time to the Nativity to find the answer.
Beautifully illustrated on every page, kids and adults alike will learn the story of Christmas, the reason why we give gifts, and how we should appreciate the gifts we receive today. Full-size illustrations the size of a magazine, give kids 25 pages that bring them into the story immediately. Every child will enjoy this story throughout the year, but especially during the Christmas season.

  • Beth - I am most interested in the gift certificate to Maria’s Mantillas. I have a green mantilla I purchased three or four years ago…and a white mantilla I’ve had since the 70’s. I’ve made myself pink and purple veils That pink one sure doesn’t see much use…long story…I had been wanting a pink veil for Gaudete and Laetere Sundays, but kept telling myself it was a silly waste of money to get a pink veil. So, I had some cream colored lace left over from when I made my purple veil, and decided to use it to make another veil…one I would dye brown. I mean, brown is an all-purpose veil color, right? I put the fabric in the washer with a full bottle of brown Rit dye…small load, hot water…left it to soak for 20 minutes before rinsing. When the load finished running, I reached in and pulled out…PINK lace! I tell you, don’t mess with the Holy Spirit. You are never going to win! 🙂 But, I’d still kind of like to have a brown veil, lol!November 11, 2017 – 3:20 pmReplyCancel
