2014 Instagram Lenten Photo-a-Day Journey

Last year’s Lenten Photo Challenge on Instagram was such a hit {spiritually and otherwise}, we thought we’d do it again this year! If you aren’t on Instagram, no worries. If you didn’t participate last year, you are in for a spiritual treat. This was an incredible way to share with others how our Lent is going through posting daily themed photos on Instagram {and other social media outlets}. It also becomes a great way to encourage each other through this penitential season.

This year we are doing a few new things that I’ll outline below.

  • I’m on Instagram! Great! Share your photos there and be sure to tag us @CatholicSistas and use the hashtag #CSLentIPJ {Catholic Sistas Lent Instagram Photo-a-Day Journey}
  • I’m not on Instagram, but I participate in other social media platforms! No worries! Anytime you share a picture, please tag us {according to our tags on each social media platform} and use the hashtag #CSLentIPJ.
  • Be sure to use the hashtag #CSLentIPJ
  • TAG US! @CatholicSistas on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook,  @Catholic_Sistas on Twitter and +CatholicSistas on Google+.
  • We want your help! Add your pictures to Catholic Sistas’ NEW Instagram.Lent board on Pinterest. We want to see what you are sharing on Instagram, so leave a comment on this pin if you are on Pinterest with your account name or e-mail Martina @ [email protected] with the e-mail account attached to your Pinterest account and we’ll add you to the group board.
  • Please share this post and the graphic on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. Click here to download.
  • Feel free to use our button on your blog {the second graphic below} or as a profile pic on Facebook or promoting on Instagram. Download it here.
  • Pin only your photos, please.
  • That’s it! We look forward to seeing you “around town” and what pictures you snap throughout Lent. Don’t forget our bonus Easter theme, too!

*By joining this board, it will also appear on your account and help your followers see what’s going on during Lent with the photo challenge. It’s a great way to witness!

About Martina Kreitzer

Martina is a cradle Catholic, wife to Neil, and mother to seven kiddos here {and three in heaven}– 4/96-1/17. She decided to homeschool the kiddos in 2010 after many years in public schools. She is the creator of Catholic Sistas which focuses on a feminine perspective of the Catholic Faith. The website was the result of an existing camaraderie by the contributors in a Catholic women’s group she created. She is also a Seal of Approval evaluator for the Catholic Writers Guild. Lest you think she spends all her time online, Martina has enjoyed getting out into the community by serving on the Pastoral Council from 2010-2013. She is constantly on the lookout to make her parish as welcoming as the small town she grew up in East Texas. This task is not easy given that St. William is the largest parish in the Austin diocese, serving well over twenty thousand parishioners. She loves Jesus, coffee, bacon, chocolate, photography, more bacon, evangelizing, and the company of those unafraid to use their sense of humor.
